Data we process
This website has no contact form. To deliver pages, the server processes technical connection data such as your IP address, the time and the requested page; the web server does not keep access logs. If you email us at hello@diya.eu.com, we process the data you choose to send — usually your name, email address and message, and possibly your company or telephone number. Please do not include sensitive personal data.
Purposes and legal bases
We use your email to answer your request and, where applicable, take steps before a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other business correspondence and proportionate security measures may rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). Optional analytics relies on consent under Article 6(1)(a). Writing to us does not subscribe you to marketing.
Recipients and transfers
The website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Email sent to hello@diya.eu.com is forwarded by the domain registrar Porkbun LLC (USA) to a Google Gmail mailbox (Google Ireland Limited). This can involve transfers to the USA, which rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the provider’s standard contractual clauses. No analytics or advertising services are in use.
Retention
The website itself stores no emails. Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months at the latest; correspondence relating to a contract is kept for the statutory retention period of seven years. A cookie choice, if you save one, is stored on your device for 180 days.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) or your competent supervisory authority.
Provision and automated decisions
Sending us an email is voluntary. We do not use automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects.
